Today I’m bringing you the fourth episode in this summer’s “Summer School” series where all summer long we are having conversations with language teachers. In this episode, I am speaking with Ilaria, a professional language teacher and instructor and the founder of Languages in Progress. Ilaria is originally from Sicily and today she’s telling me all about the Sicilian language, some bits about Sicilian culture and if you listen all the way through, you’ll get to hear us speak with one another in Italian.

Ilaria is incredibly talented so aside from Italian and Sicilian, she also speaks Russian, and Spanish and she's learning Arabic and Polish. Amazing right. I urge you to check out her Languages in Progress Instagram page where she has posted videos of herself speaking all of these languages in the same conversation. It’s phenomenal to see someone switch languages so fast!

To find Ilaria and her language videos be sure to click the links in the show notes. And as always if you like the show, please rate, review and subscribe on Apple Podcasts to help language lovers like you find the show.
