These steps enable us all to get on and ‘Just do it’

KEY TAKEAWAYS

Start small
It takes less than you think to start challenging your body and inspiring changes. Plan for small wins on the journey to your goals. These will add momentum to your progress as the weeks go by.
Just do it
The more you think about it and doubt it the harder it becomes start today. There is no reason why you can’t start today so the important thing is to ‘Just do it’
Set a schedule
It is said that If it’s not written down, it doesn’t exist. Make sure to set up a paper or electronic schedule include meals and workouts. It’s important to focus on sticking to the schedule to fulfil your potential.
Set yourself up for success
Start by clearing out any left-overs to remove temptation. If you don’t have it in the house, then you don’t have to rely on willpower and have an increased chance of success.
Accountability
Find a workout partner. This provides someone who can encourage you and someone you can encourage. Share with your friends on social media telling them what your goals are – they can hold you to account; checking in on your progress.
Make sure to give 72 hours of effort before you judge yourself. It takes 72 hours, regardless of any effort you make for sugar to move out of your system. Keep on exercising through the time frame and make any judgements later on to ensure they are accurate.

ABOUT THE HOST

Something that’s never been attached to Paul is the label ‘normal’ – for which he is immensely proud.  He definitely subscribes to being one of those mentioned – in the Steve Jobs quote:

“Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
