A study from the Harvard School of Public Health reported that nearly one-fourth of Americans says they snack multiple times per day, and at least one-third say they snack at least once a day. K-State Research and Extension nutrition specialist Sandy Procter says that snacks happen, but having a plan for what you eat – and how much – is key to providing the energy your body is asking for, and avoiding unwanted weight gain. She discusses some of the options for snacking healthfully.
