Gardening was one of the activities people turned to during the pandemic, and the K-State Garden Hour Webinar Series was started to offer tips and training. There has been an increased interest in organic home gardening. During a recent webinar, Johnson County Horticulture Extension agent Zac Hoppenstedt provided an introduction to organic agriculture and growing techniques that can be adapted for the home garden.

Sound Living is a weekly public affairs program addressing issues related to families and consumers. It is hosted by Jeff Wichman. Each episode shares the expertise of K-State specialists in fields such as child nutrition, food safety, adult development and aging, youth development, family resource management, physical fitness and more.
