In this week's Someone Gets me Podcast episode, we discuss Why smart people struggle.

We will explore common issues individuals may experience: overthinking, distraction, time optimism, social awkwardness, processing speeds, and needing to be heard.

Smart people tend to analyze and figure out every detail, often leading to an inability to make decisions. This is the dark side of overthinking: analysis paralysis.

Smart people tend to be easily pulled away from the task at hand in search of an answer or solution. This behavior leads to distraction and finding rabbit holes to go down.

Smart people also need to understand time is linear and that taking care of yourself while managing tasks is essential.

It's important to give yourself time to slow down and integrate all this information, as our being needs time to integrate physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We must take the time to listen to the thoughts and opinions of others to foster meaningful connections. We must also take the time to listen to the views and opinions of others to create meaningful connections. Remember to give ourselves permission to slow down and breathe every once in a while.
