Usually I write an advice column and then I make a podcast from it. But this week, what I needed to say was better just spoken. I could get into it better. I could feel it in my chest and put it out there, and it wasn't complicated. It was just this: If you care about your life and the lives of those around you, if you want history to judge you kindly, if you want to be part of the solution and not part of the problem, there are certain things you have to do no matter what.
