Next Episode: Sometimes Life Sucks

On this episode of Simply Straight Talk, Reggie is talking about the decisions people make during hard times that lead to bad decisions. Reggie will be sharing his own personal experiences.

When people are facing problems that make them feel frantic, they have reached a point in their life where they feel hopeless. It becomes difficult to see things improving without making some kind of dramatic decision. Often times people mentally block out the thought of the possible consequences. It’s often a false sense of relief effort to delay facing the issues that need to be addressed, it seems insane.

And then there is the do-or-die factor. When a person's self-esteem has slowly fallen from low to nothing, hopelessness has begun to consume their emotions, and expectations of more bad news monopolize their thoughts at every turn. For this reason, people begin to disregard any rational thinking and make decisions that have a long-term negative impact on their life. In some cases, people lose their faith in God.
