The Sierra Hotel Echo team discuss the phenomena of women in the military having angst towards other women. Sometimes they are the first to be critical and judgmental, then tear down their sisters in arms. We want to change that here at Sierra Hotel Echo!

Savanah, a former Marine Corps legal assistance joins the show this week to talk about the coined termed that female Marines have created for this phenomena. “Pick Me Ass Bitch” is when a woman tries to be accepted by her male counter parts by endorsing their male-centric views that may act against her own interests and/or throw another woman under the bus whether that be a particular woman or women as a whole using stereotypes to demean her sisters.

Also, this week the team highlights Alexandra Weir as the honorary Sierra Hotel Echo Women of the Week! Alexandra is a Marine Corps Sergeant who is not letting stereotypes deter her from her dreams of coming a Special Forces operator. From ballerina to Marine Corps, she is resilient beyond words!
