For this week's conversation, I am joined by Dr. Karen Moss. Dr. Moss is a registered nurse who was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. Dr. Moss began her nursing career in the Bahamas and obtained her associates degree at the University of the Bahamas. She has since gone on to complete her Bachelors Degree in Nursing, her Master's degree and her PhD degree in the United States. Dr. Moss guides us through a difficult topic this week. She sheds tremendous light on advance care planning, healthcare decision making, and the end-of-life decision making processes particularly of Black/African American adults living with dementias.
