Matt always knew he wanted to go into a career that allowed him to help people. Way before he knew anything about counseling, Matt set a goal to be the guy that makes the people around him happier, whether that be through trying to make someone laugh, giving a needed complement, or simply just being there when they needed someone to listen.

In pursuit of this goal, Matt graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in nutrition science. He then went on to the University of North Texas to collect his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Matt now holds the license of LPC-Associate, while also earning a National Certified Counselor (NCC) designation.
