My guest this week, Darius Bashar, is a celebrated (deservedly so!) photographer whose subjects include bestselling authors, international celebrities, and thought leaders. He's also a guided meditation instructor, and Founder of the Artist Morning, an international community of artists, creators, and meditators.
I'm not going to lie — some magic happened in this episode. If you've been listening to me for a while, you know that I've been working on my inner perfectionist. This episode put that to the test, and I couldn't be happier to release it exactly as it is — warts (and special guest appearance by my dog, Kota) and all.
"Perfectionism, I suffer from it as well. One little thing I've been doing is I've been intentionally leaving mistakes in things I make. And being like, I see you. I know I can remove you. And I'm not going to."
Darius is so warm, wise, and witty, and I know you're going to love this conversation just as much as I did. We'll be talking about mistakes and meditation, despair, big messy decisions... and so much more. Tune in.
PS — want more Darius? I don't blame you. Find him over on his website, or check out the Artist Morning website!
