My guest today, Kim Dansby-Berry, is the perfect person for this conversation. As the founder of Boreal Insurance Brokerage, the education of her clients is at the core of Kim's philosophies. She's had an incredible multi-decade career in the investment and insurance services spectrum.

So when I tell you she knows money? She KNOWS money. And beyond that, she knows how money is different for women — and for women of color.

"I never would have gotten as far as I did had I not had people who championed me. Who talked about me in a way that led to promotions. Be that person for someone else! Reach back. Pull somebody else along. If we all did that, the increase that we would see on the number of women on boards, the number of women in C suites, the number of higher level management women — that would change, if we all reached back."
