In this episode, Scott chats with Sandy, who experienced the tragedy of losing her son to a heroin overdose in 2008. After his death, she became involved in drug education. Later, she joined the non-profit Safe Homes Coalition, which helps remove harmful drugs from homes. Her story is heart-wrenching, but from it, she has built strength to carry on in her work to end drug addiction.
