My guest for Ep. 4 is U.S. Army Master Sgt. Amaurys “Rap” Rapozo-Meran.  A native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he enlisted in 2002. He is currently the Humanitarian Assistance Program manager and Operations Noncommissioned Officer at the Security Cooperation Office in San Salvador, but his primary military specialty is Airborne Infantryman.

Prior to this assignment, he served five combat deployments in Operation Iraqi Freedom I, II, III, V, and in Operation Enduring Freedom. He served previously as a drill instructor and holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Government Contracting and Acquisition and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, he’ll be talking about his courageous decision in 2017 to seek treatment for PTSD, helping lift the stigma on mental health treatment, and how getting this help changed his life.
