We’re taking a small break from airing new interviews to share some of the most popular podcasts recorded over the past five years at Rochester Rising. For this episode, we’re going all the way back to episode 25, which originally aired on January 25, 2017. In this show I sat down and talked with Dr. Bruce Levy, CEO and Founder, and Romeo Catracchia, CCO of COVR Medical. COVR Medical is a Rochester based medical device startup formed through the Mayo Clinic’s entrepreneurship program. Their mission is to raise the standard of care for patient privacy and dignity through their medical garments to keep patients covered during surgical procedures. The idea for the business developed from Dr. Levy’s experience as an orthopedic surgeon at Mayo Clinic, his frustration with the unnecessary exposure of patients in the operating room, and his desire to create a better solution. Join us today as we talk more about COVR Medical, the team’s entrepreneurial journey, and much more.
