The future leadership of Tauranga City Council is likely to be decided today.
Four commissioners took over in February last year, after the elected councillors were sacked in December 2020.
A decision on whether locals will be able to vote in October's local body elections or if the commissioners will stay on is now in the hands of the Minister, Nanaia Mahuta.
