WBC Junior Welterweight Champion Jose Ramirez squared off in a unification match last night against WBO Junior Welterweight Champion Maurice Hooker in what looked to be a 50/50 matchup. Both men engaged in a competitive pretty even matchup until the sixth round came around and Ramirez landed a monstrous left hook that drove a defenseless Hooker back to the ropes where he was being bombarded with multiple unanswered shots. The referee had no choice but to halt the bout as Ramirez went on to win by a sixth round technical knockout. Eric and Beeb recap this fight as well as the rest of the past week's boxing action.
