Forty year old boxing icon Manny Pacquiao turned back the clock once again and beat WBA Super World Welterweight Champion Keith Thurman last night in Las Vegas. Pacquiao got off to a fast start and scored a knockdown in the first round but the game Thurman came back a bit in middle rounds and made the fight close. Showing his championship heart and true grit, Pacquiao was able to close the show strong in the championship rounds to secure a close split decision victory by the scores of 115-112 twice and losing on one card 114-113.
