Perinatal Nurse and Educator Jen Atkisson vulnerably shares her personal story that led to getting fired up about trauma informed care for nurses, doctors and their patients.  Jen and I explore:

Slowing down
How trauma informed care doesn't mean having to be a therapist
Simple things to implement to support patients AND medical staff
Having deep compassion for the lives of those working in healthcare
