Perinatal Nurse and Educator Jen Atkisson shares vulnerably her personal story that led to getting fired up about trauma informed care for nurses and doctors and their patients. Shelby and Jen explore topics of slowing down, trauma informed care doesn't mean having to be a therapist, simple things to implement to support patients AND medical staff, and deep compassion for the lives of those working in medical and healthcare.
