Title company accidentally wired me 315k instead of 30k at closing...
I was supposed to receive roughly 30k for my home, but I received 315k. I told my real estate agent , and we emailed the title company and our attorney. Will this negatively affect my taxes?

In-Laws Can't Pay Mortgage. Husband wants us to buy their house?
In-laws owe about 200k on their house. They are often unable to pay their mortgage (some of it) and need to "borrow" money from us or husbands siblings. They refuse to move out. We have tried for years to help them with other options but they will not do it. Husband now wants to buy the home and they will just pay utilities and taxes. They have multiple medical conditions and no savings. We have the cash. I would love some advice.
