Unprofessional agent behaviors that need to stop, in 2020. 1) Agents who won't educate - much less stand up to - their client. You have to be strong and be the knowledgeable and trusted professional they hired you to be. Don't let them make you send garbage/unreasonable requests in repair requests. 2) Believe showing a house entitles them to be unprofessional and inconsiderate about others times. Don't let clients treat the property poorly. 3) Careless with security. Make sure the lights are off and the doors locks. Treat it as if it's your listing. 4) Treat contractual deadlines as suggestions. Be the professional make the deadlines so you are representing your client well. 5) View Open Houses as a opportunity to nap and hang out. This is how you gain clients, do what's right to show you're the professional others MUST work with. 6) Takes advantage of other agents. Don't take their photos, their MLS copy, or stiff an agent on a referral you agreed to. Be the professional and lead by example.
