Setting the state with your clients. While it seems like an easy concept that everyone would do, it's one of the most often missed concepts or steps of the process with most agents. By failing to set the stage and flow of the process, you're allowing for the normal issues or steps to become an unknown step that can cause a lot of fear and anxiety that could easily be averted. One of the best ways to keep a list of things that have gone wrong or ways to improve your process. Then as you speak with clients, you'll know what parts to mention to them and how you'll mitigate things or negotiate through them. As you grow and show more confidence in the process and your abilities, you'll have a lot fewer issues in the process that you haven't already warned your clients about or that you aren't prepared for.
