In this episode of Re-Leaf Chronic Pain, Trevor is joined by the lovely Phoenix, a friend, community member, and client. We talk about the journey to health! From having undiagnosed, unexplained pain, to receiving my evaluation of what was causing the pain, to working with herbs that address the root causes of the pain.

Phoenix shares their journey from being in denial about how bad their undiagnosed chronic pain to working with herbal allies to support their health journey. Having chronic pain and fatigue rooted in a car accident 5 years before, they had no explanation for their chronic pain.

Phoenix shares share how hopeless they felt in a world that downplays our pains and denies us access to what we need to heal from them. I share the explanation for their pain and asks Phoenix what it felt like to receive an explanation for their pains. Phoenix shares what it was like to move from being in denial about their pain, a feeling that was trained in them by how society treated their pains, to having access to the support of herbal allies. We also discuss what it's like to learn techniques of working with plant allies as conscious living beings and what that means for our healing.

The moment, I met Phoenix and they shared a little about their pain, I thought, "This is what fibromyalgia looks like 10 years before I work with most people." This conversation is our message to the people who are living in pain and thinking there's nothing you can do for it: Pain is a message for us to do something for it. Pain doesn't get better unless we address the causes. Let's get healing! For more information about my consultations,  visit https://creatingelation.com/consultations
