Welcome to the fourth episode of the Project Young Hearts podcast!

This is a podcast that asks: What does it mean to be an empowered, heart-driven human? How can we navigate self-doubt and external pressures so that we can make courageous choices, step up and create an impact in the world?

Today I’m joined by Emma Holdsworth. Emma Holdsworth is a mother of two, Family and Parenthood counsellor and Pregnancy and Postpartum Doula with over 20 years experience working with families.

Emma is passionate about supporting parents from pregnancy through to early parenting, offering a range of support packages both locally and online. Emma holds the mental health and emotional wellbeing of families as her highest priority, supporting parents to explore the deeper aspects of themselves and their relationships and understand how their childhood experiences, past relationships, values and beliefs will influence their parenting experience and the wellbeing of their babies and children.

Learn more about her new coaching program here.

In todays ep we chat about:

Radical role modellingExpressing anger and releasing big emotionsHow ‘Big emotions’ are not a problem despite what most institutions suggestStarting a conversation by listeningSupporting our children with problem solving

And I’ve already booked her in for another episode so we can delve deeper into these topics!

This podcast is extra special because we want to feature audio contributions from you—the Project Young Hearts community. We want to hear your voice, as parents or custodians of young hearts AND the voices of tweens and teens. Learn more about contributing here.

I’m so excited to share this powerful conversation and community with you, the Project Young Hearts fam. I hope you share it with the ones you love, I hope it changes things for you.
We are all in this together.
