Welcoming back Jess Stevens to the podcast, charting her course of losing 12st/76kg/167lbs. We discuss the turning points that mattered the most to help her lose weight and how she modified her life under her own terms to make it all work.
Jess joined is for the ladies takeover the podcast in February, and we welcome her back today to tell her startling story of weight gained and then lost.
We discuss the life events that happened that led to her weight gain over a 2 year period, explore the environmental factors as well as the logistical and lifestyle events in general.
Jess then goes on to tell us about the two key moments that happened in her life which acted as trigger points for her to self-realise and thereby accept that she was in an unhappy and unhealthy place, then move forwards to begin the path back to a healthy lifestyle and healthy weight range.
Now, as an active healthy woman she talks about the kind of training she currently does.
The role that personal training played in her life and how her belief in herself developed, how her friendship circles changed and how she now has a positive future with both food, her career and her capability in exercise.
