On Episode #22 of the Profits Over Wages Podcast, we sit down with Joseph Land - Joe’s dream was to play professional baseball, and it came true when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1968. However, a torn rotator cuff quickly ended that dream and forced Joe to dream up a new one. Joe then started The Joseph Land Group and over the next 25 years grew the company from a humble beginning into the 8th largest refrigerated transportation company in North America - with 23 offices, 1,500 trucks, over 2,000 employees, and $189 million in annual sales. Since selling the company in 1994, Joe became a founding partner in LS2C Logistics, Inc and also a managing partner of JL Capital Group - a company whose core investments include transportation, financial services, nutrition, energy technologies, real estate, and software technology among other businesses. Joe is also an avid nutrition and fitness buff and can still beat any 20-something in a push-up contest.

On this episode we talk about, taking a company from humble beginnings to $189 million in annual sales, building your own dream, mentoring, and what is stopping most people from reaching their full potential.
