In this episode, we speak with Eddie Woo. As Australia’s most famous teacher, Eddie Woo makes mathematics fun. He is the head maths teacher at Cherrybrook High, the largest secondary school in NSW.
With infectious enthusiasm, the father-of-three's unique approach to teaching has made maths accessible to everyone.
A brilliant student himself, Eddie would have excelled in any field. But in defiance of social conventions and his parents, he chose to pursue a career as a teacher.
Eddie's Youtube Channel, better known as "Wootube", has more than 1 Million subscribers with over 65million views.
In 2018, Eddie was recognised for his contribution to education, being named Australia's Local Hero.
Eddie is also the author of “Woo’s Wonderful World of Maths” and host of ABC’s TV show “Teenage Boss”.
