The use of "statins," a type of cholesterol lowering medication, have been on the rise; 28% of people over the age of 40 have used these medications in the past month. Cholesterol has long been accused of causing cardiovascular disease. However, EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN TOLD ABOUT CHOLESTEROL IS WRONG. (Watch the video to learn more.)
