In this message, we examine I Timothy 2, wherein Paul teaches us to pray for our rulers, that they would allow us to live quiet and peaceful lives. We should pray for all mankind, that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. He wants Timothy to know that there is one God and one Mediator between God and men: the Man Christ Jesus. This was a radical truth to Timothy, as it had never been true throughout Israel’s history, and is only true now in the dispensation of grace.
