In this message, Paul introduces himself and begins his letter to the believers called the Galatians. He does not offer these believers any commendations, like he does in all his other letters, but instead marvels that they have so soon turned away from the grace they were called to in order to follow a different gospel. He curses anyone who proclaims another gospel than what they had proclaimed to them: even if he himself did it, or an angel from heaven did it. We discuss what this “curse” is.
