Mountains are significant. You don't pack up the fam and drive hundreds of miles to go to Magic Valley. You don't stand in line for 3.5 hours at Disneyland to ride Space Sidewalk. You don't cherish building top experiences. In the Sound of Music, the advice wasn’t to Climb Every Sand Dune. John Denver didn’t praise Rocky Rooftop High… Mountain of the LORD – sounds impressive, right? Comes from OT prophecy - 2 places, in fact:: Isaiah 2 and Micah 4. And though these prophets were speaking of the temple mount primarily, their prophecy extended much further into the future, as well as reached back to the beginning of their faith.
