In this episode, we welcome Francesca Fulcinity, Executive Director of Heaven Can Wait Animal Society. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Heaven Can Wait Animal Society was established in 2000 to address the high rate of euthanasia for cats and dogs in their local community.

The organization focuses on spay and neuter services for companion animals and free roaming cats. Their education programs and adoption opportunities raise awareness for potential pet owners to be fully informed about the ways and means in properly taking care of their animals. They also help neighborhoods and low income communities deal with the high percentage of animals in shelter systems by providing free vaccination services and TNR.

Francesca stresses the importance of forging community partnerships with TNR organizations. By teaming up with them, the organizations coordinate with trappers who are going out in the community and identifying cats that need their services.

“This organization was founded as a way to save animals’ lives. I’m really proud of the veterinary staff that we have here on the ground. Making sure that you have a dedicated and experienced team is the core for every successful organization.” - Francesca Fulcinity.

Tune in to learn how you can connect with TNR organizations to address the animal problems in your community with humane solutions!
