In this episode of Interlinks, I talk to Richard Martin, President of Alcera Consulting located in Quebec in Canada.

At Alcera Consulting Richard helps business executives seeking to exploit change, maximize opportunity, and minimize risk.

Richard is also President of the Canadian Academy of Leadership and Development of Human Capital.

The mission of that organisation is to bring Canadian expertise and know-how in leadership and development of human capital to leaders and executives of developing nations around the world.

Richard’s activities at both Alcera and Canlead are founded on his over 20 years of experience as an infantry officer in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1980, including operational command in Bosnia and staff appointments in Kuwait, the national headquarters, and the Directorate of Army Training.

In this conversation, we discuss leading in the field in the military, the transition to civilian life and business, French-Canadian identity and what is going on in the world in terms of the absence of normality and the impact on businesses.
