A visit to a distillery in Detroit sparked Aidan’s love affair with whiskey. Intrigued by the alchemy, he took a distilling course, literally bumped in to Jordan in a carpark and ended up working in Breckenridge Distillery, observing the craft at the coalface of whiskey production. It was here that the vision for Natterjack Irish Whiskey was born. It wasn’t long before he quit his job in London, returned to Ireland, and set about creating Gortinore Distillers & Co. The rest, as they say, is history.
