Crystal Mata was born and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated from HSPVA and went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music. She has since returned to Houston to become a member of the local theatre community, a representative of a local music festival, the lead vocalist of a Mariachi and a private instructor.
