#12 Jada Wallace’s Story: Learning How To Step Into Your Own Identity Despite What Others Want and How To Cope WIth Anxiety

Have you ever felt lost in who you are? Have you felt trapped where you feel you couldn't express your true self?

Jada was born and raised in Ontario and has a big family. She is the youngest of 5 older brothers which presented some challenges but there were also lots of good times! Jada has always been a part of her church which has taught her great things but she struggled to truly be herself and show who she truly is. With the unspoken expectations of being the Pastor's daughter, she felt the need to act and dress a certain way. Through her experiences, she learned that she needed to express herself the way she wanted and step into her own identity. 

Jada leads with kindness and no judgment. Throughout the conversation, Jada shows how big her heart is and how she genuinely cares about others. She touched on the racism she has faced but told us she doesn't let it have power over her! Jada also talks about some of the challenges she faced with her anxiety. She was confused and worried all the time as a young child and it carried with her through her life today. It took a toll on her in high school and this is when she took action to help herself deal with it. Jada tells us what she does to maintain the anxiety and be her best version of herself. Now looking into the future Jada wants to be a film director and tells us how this passion came to be!!
