Meet Kristen Yerger, a certified nutritionist, network marketer, and wellness mentor to moms and teachers everywhere.

A former softball player with sights set on Olympic glory, Kristen was forced to retire from the sport when she sustained a shoulder injury in high school.  As the years passed, Kristen learned how to move past failure and accept that life isn’t always going to be perfect, applying these mantras when alcoholism nearly threatened to pull her marriage apart.

Now a devoted runner and 4 AM early-riser, Kristen details what helped her save her marriage, discover a new purpose, and re-establish her own identity.  She now coaches teachers and mothers, encouraging them to be 1% better than they were the day before.

Kristen’s Takeaways:

Grief inevitably follows the loss of identity.Life isn’t always going to be perfect. You need to learn how to fail. You can’t appreciate times of joy if you don’t appreciate time of struggle.Walking away from something does NOT create a losing situation.Your response to any situation is going to affect your attitude and how you react to things.Things will work out eventually — just not in the time frame we want.No one has the right to judge someone while they’re going through it.Be 1% better than you were yesterday. You’re not going to please everyone.
