After a recent retreat to attend CAST's Universal Design for Learning Institute, Kate fills us in on what she learned, the value of the Institute for professional development, and where these things fit into her practice. Universal Design for Learning is a research-based approach to learning design that strives to include every learner in ways that help them maximize their potential.
