ABOUT


Kristen Moreland is an accomplished facilitator and educational leader with over 25 years of international and domestic experience. Kristen has recently transitioned from the Pan American School in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where she served as an instructional coach for three years, to northern New Hampshire, where she is currently the Director of Teaching and Learning for the Littleton Schools in SAU 84.




After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, she joined the U.S. Peace Corps and moved to Cameroon in Central Africa, where she taught English as a foreign language at a local public school. Upon completing her service, Kristen returned to teaching in the United States with a short break to complete her master's degree at the University of Denver. In 2005, she moved to Istanbul, Turkey, where she taught middle school English for five years. Back in Denver, Colorado, Kristen transitioned into an instructional coaching role, where she received extensive training in facilitation, culturally responsive pedagogy, and the needs of adult learners. Committed to growth and transformation, Kristen recently earned her EdD from Southern New Hampshire University, focusing on bringing humanity back to education.
