Previous Episode: Even Now
Next Episode: Even When

This Sunday, October 28, we continue our sermon series “A Grace-Full Life.” God’s grace comes to us in four movements: “Even There, Even Now, Even More, and Even Then;” that is, prevenient grace, justifying grace, sanctifying grace, and glorifying grace. It all about living out our God’s all-reaching, soul-saving, character-shaping, never-ending love.

We look this week at Sanctifying Grace, which is the way God grows and shapes us once we have stepped over the line of faith in Jesus Christ in Justifying Grace. To be better prepared read Romans 6:22, 7:18–20, 24–25, 8:1–2; John 17:17, Hebrews 12:10b, 1 Peter 2:1–3

Sanctifying Grace is the “Even More” work of the Holy Spirit to root out sin- anything that misses the mark of God’s full intention for our lives. God imputes righteousness to us in Justifying Grace and God imparts righteousness to us in Sanctifying Grace through a process over time. Justifying Grace is what Christ did for us. Sanctifying Grace is what God does in us now.
