On this episode I chat to Shelly Hackett and Amy Brett, Founders of Slainte Retreats.

Slainte is the Irish term for 'good health' and that is exactly what Slainte Retreats and Workshops are centered on: experiences that promote women's health and overall wellbeing. Founded in February 2022 Slainte has seen hundreds of women attend their retreats and wellness workshops. By creating space for self care , connection, education and movement, Shelly and Amy have been able to use the retreats and workshops to delve deeper in to conversations and education on self care and women's health.

Both Shelly & Amy have a strong connection in the Gaelic Football community in New York, and in this episode we chat about the challenges of living in NYC and their tips for getting the support you need when Navigating life in the Big Apple.

We discuss what Shelly & Amy have learned over the years in both their personal and professional journeys, what inspired them to take the leap and start their own business and ofcourse, the importance of taking a break - or even going on a retreat every once in a while!
