The importance of trauma-informed care has never been more essential because there has never been more support out there for people in every way imaginable. And the coaching world is regulated so differently than the therapeutic world.
Trauma-informed care really makes sure that coaches (and other organizations) subscribe to certain ethics around their work culture to help people feel safe and protected, to be able to recognize signs and symptoms of trauma within clients, and implement this knowledge to avoid traumatizing people.
