Need some ideas to make meal time enjoyable and not a struggle? Lee Forrester, a Nurse, Personal Trainer, Health and Nutrition Coach, and I talk fitness, blending cultures and kids growing up with a healthy sense of self in this week's episode.

Lee says, "I'm an RN, trained in the UK where I was born and raised. I have worked in the Bay Area in the acute care setting for many years.

After some time I felt some unrest and wanted to branch out into a more holistic approach to health care and disease prevention.

I got the opportunity (actually while working out at the gym with a woman from HR at the company that hired me) to join and work for a medical startup that focuses on metabolic and hormonal imbalances also supporting individuals with weight loss.

It became clear very quickly that this was my passion. Alongside this getting certified as a Personal Trainer. I now help primarily women in their 40's and 50's with the 'nothing I do changes my weight' stage of life and the frustration they experience in not getting into their clothes and not feeling good about their bodies, lacking energy and vitality.

On the home front my two daughters are of college age, one having graduated this year and are young ladies I am very proud of.

Within the community I have worked with women who were going through very challenging times, feel seen and cared for in a personal care kind of way. A ton of fun was to be had working with pre K and kindergarten aged children at my church which was very rewarding and thrilling."
