Have you ever been so touched in your "mother heart" by something you saw that you had to act right away?!? In this interview, non-profit founder Adwoa Adu Acquah shares the moment that gave birth to her relief organization which provides food, education and shelter for children around the world. She makes time to do this along with raise her three boys, one of whom has special needs.

Adwoa Adu Acquah is a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA and the founder and President of Pockets of Promise, a relief agency dedicated to helping needy children and their families thrive. She has a BA in Economics and Accounting from Agnes Scott College and an MPH with a concentration in Health Policy from Emory University School of Public Health. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and three sons. In her free time, Adwoa likes hiking and long walks in nature.

Adwoa is originally from Ghana, West Africa, (as I am) and has a passion to help the people in Ghana and other developing countries to reach their potential and thrive.
