S3 EP11 Jackie Travers - on Big Brother, Madonna & life as a dancer

Jackie Travers is the epitome of showbiz... predominantly now a dancer and Dance Instructor but also an actress and presenter, Jackie started her career in the best possible way and was in the very famous dance troupe New Generation in the 70s which saw her tour the globe and regularly perform on shows such as Top of The Pops.

In 2013, she was part of the very first and only Mum & Daughter pairing on Big Brother, alongside gorgeous daughter Charlie,  and in this chat she tells us some interesting insights to the crazy world of Big Brother and what it is really like. She talks about her desire to go on other reality shows and her passion for the world of lights, camera, action as well as telling us what Madonna when she worked alongside her in the film Evita.

We also end up down an unusual path in which Jackie, extremely openly, tells us of a fascinating and emotional story about her family and how she discovered her long lost Mother.

Now, 64, she is still so incredibly glamorous, so active still and teaches weekly dance classes - and she still performs to a high level: only 2 years ago she performed at the London Palladium for Dame Vera Lynn's tribute concert celebrating her 100th birthday anniversary.
