By the time many women reach midlife, they're on a quest for something new. That journey could including reinventing themselves, starting a career, changing careers, becoming an empty nester and so much more. What should midlife women do when they desire change? It's time for the big pivot!
Denice Torres knows about the big pivot. Denice was a senior executive at Johnson & Johnson, as well as president of several multi-billion-dollar companies. After leading the turnaround of Tylenol and other OTC drugs after quality and manufacturing issues plagued the brands between 2011-2015, Denice retired from Johnson & Johnson, pivoted, and launched The Mentoring Place., an initiative to help women thrive in their careers through free resources and 1:1 mentoring with senior advisors. Not one to rest on her laurels, she is also CEO of The Ignited Company, a consultancy firm in the area of leadership development and change management.
Denice and I talk all about pivoting and how women can get back up and reinvent themselves to be whatever they want to be.
