Colin is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 2 master's degrees with a focus on exercise as medication across the lifespan. A clinician for 20 years, he empowers people to take control of their physical & mental health by applying science & research to practical "action plans". He's written 2 books, hosts the podcast Action 30, was creator/host of "The Fitness Show" on PBS & competed as a drug-free bodybuilder for 8 years, winning Collegiate Mr. Oregon & finalist at the drug-free nationals. For older adults, he invented S3 Balance, a device/program to reduce falls & staff strain in senior living communities. He's also a medical writer for The Oregonian, educating the public on how exercise can treat/prevent disease & injury.
