MBE EP 34 Graeme Earl, Naylor Love Highlights Key Trends from the Commercial Project Awards

Ryan talks with Graeme Earl, Regional Director at Naylor Love Canterbury and a judge of the Commercial Project Awards (CPA) to discuss the trends among the top entries and how they are relevant to the wider building and construction sector. They also cover Graeme's insights as a senior leader for the Naylor Love team around embedding key values into their business and earning the respect of your team to lead better. 

The Commercial Project Awards (CPA) is a prestigious awards programme that sets the benchmark for commercial construction in New Zealand. CPA recognises top completed construction projects and the teams that achieve them. Entry is open to all NZ based commercial construction project partners including contractors, architects, building owners, engineers and quantity surveyors etc. no matter how big or small the project is. 

Bio - Graeme Earl, Regional Director - Naylor Love Canterbury
Graeme began his construction career as an apprentice carpenter in 1984. He quickly progressed to site then senior company management roles and has been responsible for a number of award winning, landmark projects throughout the South Island. 

With an impressive reputation for consistently delivering successful projects and building strong teams, Graeme is also committed to developing the construction industry through his active involvement with the Central Southern Region Apprentice of the Year committee, NZ Registered Master Builders (Canterbury Branch) and NZ Institute of Building (NZIOB). 

Graeme joined Naylor Love as Director – Naylor Love Canterbury Ltd in June 2016.He has been a Commercial Project Awards judge for 3 years and entrant many times.
