Before you even begin on your research journey you need to understand WHY you are doing this research.

Have you deep dived into the purpose behind your research and what outcomes you want from this research?

It is like scrolling on insta it is so easy to get lost in the void.

Firstly, set yourself up with a research brief.

Who are you going to look at? How far and wide will you go with the research?

What is relevant to you?

How are you going to implement the results from this research into your business?

Often before positioning we in a marketplace or launching a new product research is essential for success.

Is it possible to get the research you need from your current customers?

Have you sent a survey without results?

Will it be more beneficial to give them a call and ask the questions directly?

Depending on whether you’re a product or a service-based business depends on how close you are to those customers.

Find a way to make your customers want to engage with your research, you will find you receive better answers also. Make this valuable for them. Be clear and concise with what you want to achieve and what you need to no, do not waste their time.
